Tab Notes stores your notes on your device in Chrome’s local storage. Note text, tags, collections, and page URLs used as storage keys stay on your computer. We do not send note content, titles, or the websites you visit to our servers.

When you use the extension, we send anonymous product events (for example: opened the popup, pinned a note, saved a note, opened All Notes) to PostHog so we can understand usage and improve the product. Those events include a random ID, browser/OS from the user agent, and approximate location derived from IP address. We do not sell this data. PostHog processes it as our analytics provider.

You can stop this by uninstalling Tab Notes. Questions: use the support email on the Chrome Web Store listing.
